EA6 is characterized by episodic ataxia, seizures, migraine and alternating hemiplegia.,function:Transports L-glutamate and also L- and D-aspartate. Essential for terminating the postsynaptic action of glutamate by rapidly removing released glutamate from the synaptic cleft.
