Highly expressed in metastatic melanoma cells whereas it is undetectable in primary melanoma cells, healthy skin tissues and peripheral blood lymphocytes. Overexpressed in acute myeloid leukemia, in particular in those displaying granulocytic differentiation (at protein level).
